The Materials We Choose

Organic Cotton
The soft toys and rattles we stock are made from certified organic cotton — free from harmful pesticides and synthetic dyes. Gentle on newborn skin, and far kinder to the soil and waterways that grow it.

Recycled Stuffing
Where possible, the filling inside the plush toys we carry is made from recycled materials — giving new life to what would otherwise go to waste, without compromising on softness or safety.

FSC-Certified Wood
The wooden toys in our range are crafted from natural rubberwood and other timbers sourced from responsibly managed forests, certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC).

Natural Rubber
Some of the toys we stock use natural rubber — a renewable, biodegradable material tapped from rubber trees without harming them. A planet-friendly alternative to synthetic plastics, and completely safe for little ones.
The People Behind the Toys
We carefully select toys from a range of ethical makers — including fair trade artisans and local village women who use traditional craft skills passed down through generations, as well as makers closer to home here in the UK. Whatever the origin, every supplier is chosen for their commitment to quality, fair working conditions, and responsible materials. Choosing where to source is something we take seriously; it's a relationship built on respect, not just a supply chain.
How We Pack Your Order
Every order leaves us plastic-free. We use recyclable tissue paper, paper tape, and biodegradable wrapping wherever possible — no unnecessary fillers, no single-use plastic. It's a small detail that makes a real difference, one parcel at a time.
How We Deliver
We ship primarily with Royal Mail, who are actively rolling out one of the UK's largest electric vehicle delivery fleets as part of their Steps to Zero net-zero deliveries programme — meaning many parcels are already arriving by electric van. We're committed to reducing the delivery footprint further as Little Green Tots grows, including plans to invest in an electric vehicle for the business in the future.
